How to choose among the games like MapleStory

Among games like MapleStory, start with WonderKing if you want the same platforming feel on a fresh server: it is the newest release here, and its relaunch is the only entry that this site also covers in a dated archive record. For a long class tree, La Tale lists 10 classes and 50-plus specializations on Steam.

Read the review column before you pick. As of 30 October 2026 the all-time English scores in the table run from 37 percent for MapleStory M to 65 percent for GrandChase, with MapleStory itself at 59 percent, so only GrandChase, Dragon Saga and Dungeon Fighter Online sit above the original. Language support differs too: Dragon Saga lists five interface languages and GrandChase five, while WonderKing, La Tale and Dungeon Fighter Online list English only.

Brawler fans should try Dungeon Fighter Online, with the review caveat above. Of all the games like MapleStory here, it is the one that plays least like it. Players who want a Korean-rooted alternative that is not a side-scroller can look at the Korean MMORPGs worth playing now.
