The 2010 dates
Gaming Nexus published a press release on 7 January 2010 announcing that WonderKing had entered open beta. The release is attributed to Ndoors Interactive, which published the game for North American players.
Three weeks later Gaming Nexus ran a second piece, "The WonderKing is dead! Long live the WonderKing!", reporting the commercial launch on 28 January 2010 and describing the game as available to all North American gamers. Both dates are for North America. A worldwide release date is not on record.

The December 2011 entries are the dates in an announcement. Whether the servers went off on the day is unrecorded.
The December 2011 closure
The msupdate blog reproduced Ignited Games' notice on 17 December 2011, and MMOHuts reported it on 20 December. The publisher said it would "temporarily discontinue service" over unresolved issues with the developers, including a limited amount of new content.
It promised that user data would be kept for a return of the service and described the pause as lasting "a few months". No return date appears in the notice or in later coverage.
After the notice
By 2012 Ignited Games published five titles, WonderKing among them. That tells you the company had not dropped the name months after the notice. It says nothing about whether players could log in.
The 2026 relaunch
Steam's store page for WonderKing gives 12 January 2026 as the release date, lists wondersoft as publisher and dreamideasoft as developer, and marks the game free to play. It is the only page used here for that release.
Beyond the name, nothing connects this version to the 2010 or 2011 services, so this site does not describe how they are related.
What is still unclear
Three things people ask about remain open. The original Korean developer is one, since it is not named anywhere in this coverage. The character class list is another. Regional versions are the third, so there is nothing here on European, Japanese or other releases, or on which of them still run.
The handover from Ndoors Interactive to Ignited Games is also undated. When it happened and on what terms is unrecorded.
The site does not fill these gaps from databases or fan wikis. A date or name goes on the page when a report gives it.

Beyond the North American launch of 2010 and the international service Ignited Games ran in 2011, no regional version is documented.

The Ignited Games announcement set the Item Mall closure for 5 December 2011 and the server shutdown for 29 December 2011.
